Below is a photo of Skyscanner‘s homepage. Populate the following fields: From, To, Departure, Return and Number of Travelers.
The features “Cheapest Month” and “Monthly Views” are my absolute favorites. By selecting “Cheapest Month,” Skyscanner will show you the cheapest flight available for the year according to the destination of your choice. By selecting a particular month, you will see the lowest prices for each day of that month.
After you’ve decided on the potential dates to travel, click “show flights” and you will be given a bunch of flight and airline selections to choose from.
Select the best deal for yourself. Next, you will be shown a list of places you may book this specific deal from. I typically select from a reliable source such as Orbitz, Expedia, the airline itself, or one that is familiar to me. Using Orbitz can earn you Orbucks for discounts on future travels.
Now, you will be redirected to the site of your choice.
Once you’ve been redirected, you can now finalize your booking. The benefit of booking through Orbitz is their 24 hr free cancellation, in case you change your mind.
Let me know if this was helpful to you in the comments below and also about any deals you found using Skyscanner!
Until next time,
